Alexander meets the lesser god Faceless for the first time, which is pretty much the infancy of what will become the empire-lesser god alliance. Faceless tells Alexander what he needs to do to become a class A immortal to battle mother winter.

Faceless is somewhat a leader of the lesser gods. He has no face (duhrrr) and has a fairly viscid, sticky skin, (sort of like a rubber eraser but stickier and more liquid) so when he touches another part of himself he sort of has to tear it away resulting in stringy stretches of skin he has to break off. He engulfs animals and uses their skulls to represent his face. if one breaks or gets damaged he finds another. He also takes tree branches he uses as antlers.

A: It’s so… faint.
I can… barely tell it’s there.

F: You hear it then? Good.
You must obtain it.
You must use it.
First to betray the one who has betrayed you. Immortality is within your grasp. This is your second stone.

Then, and only then will you have the power to bring about Winter’s end.
Complete this, and your power will be limitless.
